Poetry Workshop with X. J. Kennedy

Well-known poet, X. J. Kennedy, will be at the library Wednesday, October 17, 2-4 pm. Kennedy will offer suggestions for writing poems, based on samples submitted to him by members of the Wayland Library Poetry Workshop. The session is open to the public.
X. J. Kennedy, known as Joe, has published over thirty collections of poetry for both children and adults, including translations from the Greek and French. He has won many awards, including the Robert Frost gold medal for lifetime achievement. He lives in Lexington with his wife Dorothy. This poetry instructional session is provided every autumn by the Friends of the Library.
