EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
Central Fiction Book Club

Wednesday May 12, 2021
2:00 PM until 3:30 PM

This month’s selection is the best-selling novel, Little Fires Everywhere by Celest Ng. The New York Times praises Ng, and states that she “offers a nuanced and sympathetic portrait of those terrified of losing power. It is a thrillingly democratic use of omniscience, and, for a novel about class, race, family and the dangers of the status quo, brilliantly apt.”

The Whitby Central Library Afternoon Fiction Book Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 2 pm.

There will be a copy of each month's selection available for the first 12 registrants. Waitlisted registrants who have read the book are welcome to attend the meeting.

You will be contacted by a staff member regarding your copy of the book and arranging for pick-up.
