For over 100 years, people around the world have recited John McCrae's poem "In Flanders Fields"--here's an opportunity to learn more about this soldier-doctor-poet from Guelph, Ontario. His baby-hood (yes, in diapers), education in Toronto and Europe (Glee Club member), and his experiences as a medical professor (in Montreal) and doctor in war-time--all will be discussed and accompanied by plenty of photographs. There's a reason why we wear poppies during Remembrance Week.
Please join Linda Granfield and meet John McCrae.
