Bio: Susan Salis graduated from the Phipps Master Gardener Program which requires several months of intensive training in all aspects of horticulture, plus ongoing continuing education. She is also a docent at Phipps Conservatory.
Although she has been gardening for nearly 20 years, Susan still considers herself a student of horticulture and good gardening practices. For her, a garden is always a work in progress, which is why gardening is such a joy.
