Women Are History!: A Ladies First Series

In honor of Women’s History Month, the library has partnered with Heinz History Center for a series spotlighting local women who stamped their names on the historical record.

This week's lecture:

Not Charity but a Chance: Poet, Writer, Social Reformer : A remarkable woman who grew up locally, Sophie Loeb fought for the rights of widows, children and immigrants in the early 20th century.  Hailed as "America's Greatest Mother", this lecture about the outstanding life of a local heroine should not be missed!

Come to one lecture or both!  This March, join us as we change history to herstory!

**Refreshments will be provided and a free raffle will be held for complimentary tickets to the Heinz History Center and more!**
