EventKeeper : Tell a Friend
WPL Crafternoons: Turning the Page

Saturday January 11, 2020
2:00 PM until 4:00 PM

Calling all crafty and creative book lovers!

Each month, we explore a different upcycled book craft, turning a damaged or unusable donation into something beautiful. We provide the supplies, you bring the creativity!

No experience necessary, but registration is required. $2 suggested donation for materials (accepted during the event). Adults only, please!

January Craft: Suminagashi

In this crafternoon, Sarah will briefly introduce the history of paper marbling dating back to the 12th century, and demonstrate the Japanese technique, suminagashi ("ink floating"). Attendees will then be set free to experiment, creating their own suminagashi prints and projects (including earrings and a stab-binding journal)
