Poetry Writing WorkshopSaturday February 15, 2020
10:00 AM until 12:00 PM
Think you can't write poetry? Think again! Poetry is something we can all access and get nourishment from. Whether you'd like to read it or write it, this 2 hour session will give you a few tools and the green light to dive in! We'll read a few amazing poems (that you'll understand!) and give writing a poem a shot. Leave your fear of this moving, delightful, epic, life-affirming art form at the door.
This workshop is a part of our 2020 project Do the Write Thing!: A Whitehall Community Anthology, partially sponsored by a grant from PA Partners in the Arts. It is our intent that the attendees of this workshop will plan to submit a piece for publication in the anthology.
