Creative Writing WorkshopSunday February 23, 2020
9:00 AM until 12:00 PM
Are you a writer? Do you want to be? Join us as we welcome local author and instructor Dan Kirk for a four-week creative writing class!
Students should be prepared to write both in class and between sessions. Writing materials of either a laptop or notebook are required. Students will share their work, offer constructive criticism, and discuss writing in a workshop format. The theme will be Exploration, and might include both travel experiences as well as personal introspective topics. Students are encouraged to come with an open mind and with enthusiasm.
Registration is required, and students must commit to attending all four weeks.
This workshop is a part of our 2020 project Do the Write Thing: A Whitehall Community Anthology, partially sponsored by a grant from PA Partners in the Arts. It is our intent that the attendees of this workshop will plan to submit a piece for publication in the anthology.
