Join Brandon for a fun discussion of a variety of films from John Wayne to Shirley Temple as we look "behind the scenes" to unpack each selection's historical significance, stylistic choices, and meanings.
You may laugh, you may cry, you may even raise an eyebrow and wonder "What was that?", but you'll certainly be affected. They don't call 'em moving pictures for nothing!

John Waters' subversive send-up of the 1950s melodrama!
A frustrated housewife, Francine Fishpaw (Divine), tries to maintain her sanity while taking care of her dysfunctional household. Elmer, her husband and the owner of an adult theater, is sleeping with his secretary, and her delinquent teen son and pregnant teen daughter aren't helping matters any. But when Francine meets dashing Todd Tomorrow (Tab Hunter), the owner of a theater specializing in art films, her life appears rosier.
