Museum Storytime: Fort Pitt Museum

Enjoy our special virtual storytime with the Fort Pitt Museum!

A representative from the museum will read a Pittsburgh-themed story that will introduce children to local history in a fun and engaging way. Following the storytime, kids will be encouraged to participate in an activity based on the story we read!

Registration is required; Zoom information will be sent two days before the event.

This virtual storytime is part of a series promoting the Experience Kits initiative at select Allegheny & Washington County Libraries. With your library card, receive free admission passes for up to four people to several local museums and historical sites. ABOUT THE FORT PITT MUSEUM:

The Fort Pitt Museum, located in historic Point State Park in downtown Pittsburgh, is a two-floor, 12,000-square-foot museum that tells the story of Western Pennsylvania’s pivotal role during the French & Indian War, the American Revolution, and as the birthplace of Pittsburgh. Through interactive exhibitions, life-like historical figures, and recently added artifacts, visitors will learn the important role our region played in shaping the United States.
