Popular Fiction Book Discussion
Wednesday April 5, 2017
7:00 PM until 8:15 PM
In The Boston Girl, eighty-five year old Addie Baum answers the question "How did I get to be the woman I am today?" Her story is a resonant tale of immigrant life in Boston in the early 1900's. In 1915, teenage Addie joins a neighborhood book group for girls; as part of this group Addie learns to speak and makes lifelong friends. Books for discussion may be reserved at the Library. Registration is not required for this program, and all are welcome to join the discussion, facilitated by Library Director Deb Grimmett, on Wednesday April 5 at 7:00 PM.
