Historian Dr. Gary Hylander - The Lindbergh Kidnapping
Thursday March 15, 2018
We are happy to welcome back historian Dr. Gary Hylander! Tonight at 7:00 PM Dr. Hylander will share his knowledge and insights about the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby. The infant son of famed aviator Charles Lindbergh and his wife, author and poet Anne Morrow Lindbergh, was kidnapped from their home in New Jersey in 1932. The kidnapping, investigation and trial captured the public imagination and the crime was subsequently linked to many fictional works, including our Abington Reads 2018 selection, Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. Registration is not necessary for this program; up to 60 people will be accommodated on first-to-arrive basis. Dr. Hylander's lecture is funded by State Aid to Public Libraries.
Location: Copeland Room
