Students in grades K-12 are invited to get homework help from teen volunteers at the Union City Library in our after-school Homework Center program. Help is available for all subject areas. Homework Center is open Monday - Thursdays from late September through early June. The program is closed on school holidays (as per the New Haven Unified School District Schedule) and on County holidays.
Homework Center is supervised by an adult coordinator and the program allows high school students to earn Community Service Credit while helping other students.
A completed registration is REQUIRED before students can attend Homework Center. Registration forms are available at the Reference Desk. Students can sign up for help starting at 3:45 and our volunteers can assist 3 students at a time.
