Reading Clubs: A Window to the World
Reading Clubs at the Library are small reading and conversation groups for second language learners who can speak English at an intermediate - advanced level and who want to improve their listening, vocabulary and communication skills. These popular small groups led by a volunteer tutor are a fun way to practice your English and get acquainted with works of literature, with new friends, and practice communicating clearly.
Reading Clubs are held in Fremont on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Additional Reading Clubs are available at the following Alameda County Libraries: Newark, Union City, Centerville (Fremont), San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, Dublin and Albany. Reading Clubs start on September 18 to December 9, 2017.
