On A Roll: Early Engineering with STEM
Monday October 29, 2018
9:00 AM until 12:00 PM
We are surrounded by modern STEM marvels, such as bridges, inclines and mass transportation systems. How can you give your early learners the opportunity to explore the engineering processes that make building these structures possible? With easily accessible materials, this workshop will reenergize your use of science to uncover new methods of STEM engagement. Using resources from NAEYC and evidence from classroom-tested activities, attendees will collaboratively design a four-week investigation into ramps to complement curriculum on transportation and neighborhoods. Session led by the Carnegie Science Center.
