Paws for Reading
Saturday April 15, 2017
This is an opportunity for children to read to a canine "Reading Buddy." The goal is to provide a non-judgmental atmosphere in which kids can read without correction or interruption and learn not just to read, but to love reading as well. The purpose of Paws for Reading is to make reading an enjoyable experience and to enhance children's literacy skills through reading buddies, one-on-one attention, opportunity and bonus programs. The Paws for Reading program embraces children with a canine spirit: kids will do better with a little extra love, patience and some quality time with a dog.
