The Buck Institute for Research on Aging is the world’s premier research organization for the investigation of age-related diseases. Established in 1999, the Buck is an independent, nonprofit basic research organization occupying a 365,000 square foot three building campus in Novato, California, 30 miles north of San Francisco. Docent Vernon Dwelly will briefly touch on the history of the Buck Institute and describe recent scientific efforts and achievements in Age Research to extend healthy years of life.
