The women's chorus Wings of Song, flagship chorus of the northern California choral family Singers Marin, has been making beautiful music for audiences north of San Francisco for over 25 years. Begun by its Founder and Artistic Director Jan Pedersen Schiff as a choral ensemble that would bring the beauty of song to seniors in retirement and convalescent homes, this non-auditioned choir quickly grew into a self-sustaining, diverse group of musically talented women who put choral singing at the heart of their busy lives, performing a wide variety of choral literature. A musical gift to the community, Wings of Song offers its members an unparalleled opportunity to sing together with serious artistic focus, and its audiences a wonderful reminder of the incomparable joy and revelation that choral music of surpassing excellence can bring.
