Big, Bold, and Beautiful: Mark di Suvero at Crissy Field
"Big, Bold, and Beautiful: Mark di Suvero at Crissy Field” highlights the eight monumental sculptures installed at San Francisco's Crissy Field through May 26, 2014. Working primarily in steel beams and plates, di Suvero creates monumental sculptures that convey a sense of lightness and movement. This conversation explores the artist's personal connections to San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, which provide a dramatic backdrop for the exhibition. The talk features a video of the artist discussing his Bay Area background and touches on his contributions to public art across the region.
