AUTHOR PANEL - How to write about almost anything for almost any audience
Saturday April 1, 2017
Bring your ideas and your questions. Local authors Frances G. Joyce, Ann K. Howley and Jay Speyerer will discuss how your idea can become a book, and where to look if you're stuck for inspiration.
Fran Joyce will lead the discussion about writing fiction. What type of fiction do you want to write? How do you develop characters, and why is research important if it's a made up story? Ann Howley will discuss writing non-fiction including memoirs, blogs, articles, and biographies. For the third part of the presentation, Jay Speyerer, affectionately known as "Pittsburgh's Mark Twain" will discuss how to use photographs as inspiration for writing fiction or non-fiction, and he will talk about turning smart phone pet photos into stories.
All three authors have perfect five star ratings on Amazon for their books.
