READY, SET, RUN! is a series for beginner runners, weekend warriors, and beyond! Runners and non-runners alike are encouraged to attend.
Achieve a better running flow through meditation! Dr. Matthew Radier will discuss the research on exercise, diet, supplements and meditation, as well as how to unlock its benefits as a runner (or for everyday life!).
Presenter Matthew Raider, M.D., is a clinical physician and coordinating director of the Geriatric Teaching Program in Family Medicine at Middlesex Hospital in Connecticut. He has been practicing meditation for over 30 years. Dr. Raider has a special interest in endurance training physiology and has been a distance runner for over 50 years. He has a strong interest in meditation and its relationship to health.
