YA Lit Lovers Book Group
Monday December 11, 2017
7:00 PM until 8:00 PM
Are you a little less Y and a little more A, but can’t get enough of YA books? It’s ok, no really, it’s okay. This book group is for you! Whether you first found yourself drawn to teen books when the Hunger Games hit the big-screen or if you have been a lifelong fan, this group is for you. Funny, heart-wrenching, time-traveling, world-bending, stereotype shattering YA books have been making a mark on society for decades and it’s time for us adults who love them to stop hiding in the shadows. We meet monthly on the second Monday of the month at 7PM at the Farmington Main Library. A limited number of copies of each book on the list will be available for loan at the library, or bring your own! Refreshments will be provided.
DECEMBER'S BOOK: Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne
A group of kids trapped together in a chain superstore build a refuge for themselves, as a series of disasters, from a monster hailstorm to a chemical weapons spill, seems to be tearing the world apart.
Location: Board Room 1
