All are welcome to join us at the Washington Senior Center for “Readings from the Archives of the Gunn Historical Museum”. A reading of the paper, Growing up On a Connecticut Farm in the Early 1900s, written by Robert Whitehead, will take place. Robert was born in 1915 in Washington, CT and in addition to life on the farm his paper recounts home life, school days, the neighborhood, entertainment, celebrations, town stores, friends, World War Two, and more. Admission is free.
