Ballroom Dancing with Donatas Nacajus
Saturday April 29, 2017
12:00 PM until 12:55 PM
Ballroom Dancing is formal social dancing in couples, popular as a recreation and also as a competitive activity. The ballroom dance repertoire includes dances developed from old European folk dances such as the waltz, Latin American dances such as the tango, rumba, and cha-cha, and dances of 20th-century origin such as the foxtrot and quickstep. Come join us and enjoy The Beauty and Magic of this Partnership Dancing Form. There are short-cuts to happiness and dancing is one of them.
Born in Lithuania, Mr. Nacajus has been dancing since he was seven years old and has not stopped since. In his youth, he has won numerous dance competitions around the world. Since 2002, he has won professional dance competitions including 4th place in American Star Ball championships. Mr. Nacajus was a dance teacher at the Fred Astaire dance studio. He also leads the Montclair State University Ballroom and Latin Dance Team club.
