What is meditation? a broad variety of practices that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy and develop compassion. These techniques can be used to train the mind which runs habitually in patterns like tape loops. Many of these patterns can make us very unhappy, cause us to repeat unwise actions, One of the best known benefits of meditation is calming of the mind. Additional benefits are clarity of mind, and a decrease of anxiety, stress, anger, fear, jealousy, and destructive thoughts. Over time meditation can help us to better relate with others and become more empathetic in all situations. It’s been prescribed by therapist to people suffering from panic attacks, anger management, ADHD, and for freedom from habitual habits.
