Alice Howe is the featured performer for the last LOMA Open Mike Night of the 2016-2017 season. She'll perform a 1/2 hour set starting around 8;30 pm. Timeless and original, this local singer/songwriter joins a soulful, impeccably tuned voiced with crafted poetry.Her musical sensibility springs from 1960's folk and 1970's Southern California songwriters, the pure sounds of artists like Joan Baez, Kate Wolf and Joni Mitchell. Singing backup harmony, Alice has shared the stage with Antje Duvekot on multiple occasions, Alice has also appeared at Passim's Campfire Festival. Ms. Howe has released three cds over her career, including the brand new You've Been Away So Long.
