(R.A.D.) Rape and Aggression Defense Class

The Berrien County Sheriff's Office is offering a Women's Self Defense class at the library through R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) Systems. R.A.D. is a comprehensive, personal safety course for women focusing on awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance. Classes are FREE and include a free lifetime return and practice policy.
Participants must be at least 16 years of age (minors must be accompained by a parent of legal guardian).
The class will be held over the course of three evenings--March 14, 16, and 21 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.-- for a total of 12 hours.
Registration with the Berrien County Sheriff's Department is required. Call (269) 983-7141 to reserve a spot.
