Upstate Medical Healthlink Series Presents: Emerging Drugs of Abuse. Presented by Nicholas Nacca, MD Clinical Assistant Instructor of Emegency Medicine, Medical Toxicology Fellow, Upstate University Medical Center. With the prevalence of heroin and heroin-related deaths on the rise in our community, learn the reasons behind the increase, how to recognize the signs of drug abuse and what to do if you suspect someone you love is using illicit drugs.
