Puppeteers David and Susan Opasik lead this three-part puppet workshop, giving a visual overview of the art form as well as guidance in construction and performance. Puppets will be crafted at the first two sessions and participants will have opportunities to perform in a stage with their creations at the final jamboree. Supplies provided—bring your imaginations!
Whether you have a full house or an empty nest, this family-friendly workshop series will spark your creativity and open your eyes to the power of puppetry and its potential for fun. Funded by grants from Women Supporting the Arts, a program of the Arts Foundation of Martin County, and Publix Super Markets Charities.
Open to teens, adults and children ages 3 and up with parental supervision. Space is limited. Registration required. Online registration requires an email address. If you do not have one, please call 772-288-5702. Registration opens on April 15.
