Great American Novelists Series: Mark Twain, Henry James, and Edith Wharton (at MHSM)

The coming year’s readings will focus on three of America’s greatest writers of fiction, all of whom overlapped the 19th and 20th centuries, but whose influence still has an impact on today’s literary scene.
The group will meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00PM. In October, the group will meet at the Library. All other meetings will be at the Medford Historical Society and Museum at 10 Governors Ave.

December 14: Life on the Mississippi (1883)
January 18: The American (1877)
February 15: Washington Square (1881)
March 15: The House of Mirth (1905)
