Saturday May 6, 2017
1:00 PM until 2:00 PM
Ever wondered what your cat likes; if you're giving them what they want and need as a feline companion? This presentation will focus on having a behaviorally healthy cat by offering your feline friend the things they like from a cat's point of view and helping them to truly act out their feline ways!
Monique Chrétien has been helping pet dogs and cats with behavior problems since 1999 which has allowed her the pleasure of working with and training under some of the most well-known veterinary behaviorists in New England. She has taught private and group dog training classes for many years in beginner and intermediate manners, agility for fun and AKC preparation. Monique Chrétien has also worked as a veterinary technician for many years and has spent time volunteering for many non-profit animal organizations such as the MSPCA, Salem Animal Rescue League, Lucky Horse Equine Rescue and the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, just to name a few. She calls herself an animal behaviorist because she holds a Master of Science in Applied Animal Behavior & Animal Welfare. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an Associate of Science in Animal Health Technology. She is an Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
