Sensory Storytime is for children with sensory integration issues, autism spectrum disorders, other developmental disabilities, and their typically developing peers. Storytime will include songs, fingerplays, interactive stories/books, and sensory activities. A visual schedule will allow children to see what's coming up next. Carpet tiles will be provided to help children understand where they are expected to sit, and to encourage them to give each other space. While children of all ages are welcome, storytime will be geared towards 3- to 5-year-olds. In order to provide the best experience for each participant, Sensory Storytime is limited to 10 children with caregivers, and registration is required, so reserve your spot today!
