“Flexibility is the Fountain of Youth." Really.
There are about 620 muscles and 200 bones in our body. Often several muscles are attached to the same bone, each pulling in a slightly different direction. (For example, foot weakness can cause back pain.)
Following the natural chains of the muscles in continuous circular and rotational movements feels easy and soothing. Using principles of Qigong and Tai Chi, these organic movements leave you with a sense of well-being and harmony.
Our class meets before the library opens. We enter via the side entrance and the doors usually open at 8:30am (but will lock shortly after 8:45am). Wear comfortable clothing and flexible shoes. No mat is necessary.
Always check with your doctor before participating in any new exercise program.
It’s not necessary to pre-register for this class. If you have any questions please email Linda DeMedio, taichilcd@yahoo.com.
**Since the library opens at 10 a.m., the side entrance door will be open from 8:30 to 8:45 am. After that time there will be no admittance.**
