Description: This workshop recognizes that students’ needs are changing. At times these needs and subsequent behaviors can feel overwhelming. How do I modify or adapt what I have always done to meet the changing social–emotional needs of my students? We will explore the reasons why this change has happened, and learn some strategies and curriculum that have proven effective.
Presenter: Deni Howley, Ph.D., LICSW, is Program Coordinator of NRC's Behavioral Health Initiative (BHI), coordinating the Elementary Counseling grant implementation in NRC's eight member school districts.
