Description: This workshop will focus on the importance of individual Self Care, including specific strategies that staff can develop and strengthen to promote their own psychological and physical health. By strengthening and being our own best self, we are then able to better care for others in our classrooms, our families, and our community. We’ll consider personal experience and preferences on multiple domains of Self Care, and practice techniques to strengthen our own self. Finally, we’ll consider how to know if we need to get extra support/help, and where to turn.
