Description: Reflecting the national shift towards learning-focused supervision and evaluation, the Analyzing Teaching for Student Results (ATSR) course helps leaders zero in on high-leverage teaching strategies that make a difference to student learning. During the 42-hour ATSR course, participants examine and use both a common language and concept system about teaching to support any state framework. In addition, they develop skills for identifying and providing results-oriented reports and feedback based on observations and analysis of data from other sources including student achievement. This program is comprehensively redesigned to meet the requirements of the new teacher evaluation systems used in Massachusetts and other states. To apply the language and concepts to various states’ models, crosswalks have been developed for districts where RBT has already been working.
