Folk Songs for Kids performed by Bill Staines
Thursday August 17, 2017
Please join us on Thursday, August 17 at 1:00 PM in the auditorium for “Folk Songs for Kids” performed by Bill Staines.
This 45-minute performance will blend traditional tunes with contemporary folk ballads. The Performer’s humorous tales of life on the road and observations of everyday people provide an entertaining blend of story and song. On stage, Staines is an intimate, compelling performer, out of the folk scene of the 60’s, encouraging his audience to sing with him on his chorus songs.
Bill Staines is an American folk musician and singer-songwriter from New Hampshire, who writes and performs songs about a wide array of topics. He has also written and recorded children's songs.
