Using Vital Records/Beginning Immigration Research

Join volunteers, Jan, Angela and Vera, in learning how to use vital records in your family research, as well as learning how to begin your immigration research.  It is highly suggested to take this class along with Organizing Your Records/Introduction to the Census, the Introduction to Ancestry.com and the Introduction to Family Search class to achieve the full value of these courses.

Space is limited and Preregistration is required.  This class is offered in the morning only'

You may also email the Local History Department at  localhistory@pittsfieldlibrary.org or call 413 499-9480 x6 during regular business hours for more information or questions.

Please note: We accept your registration as a commitment to attend a session and we will hold a spot for you. If you later find you will not be able to attend, we request that you let us know so we can alert someone on our waiting list. Those who habitually reserve a spot and then don't show may be denied the opportunity to register for future sessions. Thank you.
