As Shirley-ites, we may not be aware of the incredible opportunity that quietly awaits us in the very center of our own town. The Meetinghouse is one of the most gratifying places to make music anywhere in the area.  And there she sits, presently receiving a much needed facelift via paint and repairs.  She waits for musicians, for an audience...for you!!

At 4pm, the Meeting House doors will open to welcome anyone who might want to make music with a group (or anyone who wants to listen). This is NOT an open mic.  We will be making music as a group. The format includes some specifics:  Please bring uplifting, positive songs that are commonly known or be willing to teach others an original or lesser-known song. All acoustic instruments are welcome and there is a piano available for. There will be no mics or amps. We will continue as interest dictates.  Come and have some fun, relax and enjoy!
