Scituate's Lost Art Colony, Presented by David Noonan
Saturday September 16, 2017
2:00 PM until 3:30 PM
Join us for another look at the remarkable “colony” of painters, writers, photographers, sculptors, architects, composers, musicians, and craftsmen that worked in Scituate, Massachusetts between 1890 and 1910.
A presentation---augmented with digital images--- by local resident, David Noonan, Jr., about on-going research by his team of volunteer art sleuths and historians as they continue to seek out new information concerning this little-known, but important part of the South Shore’s cultural heritage.
Facilitator, trouble shooter, wordsmith and information broker, Noonan has been a journalist and diplomat.
Location: Community Room
