The trials of daily life can take their toll, but an inability to cope in a healthy and mindful way is more damaging. Born out of the spiritual practices of Buddhism and now performed as a mental practice by millions around the world, meditation can benefit anyone who has ever thought “I never get a break” or “Why can’t there be more hours in the day?”
Certified teachers Dottie Coll and Lisa Klein will give a talk about and a demonstration of DASHA meditation. They’ll show us that, in order to make the most of life, we must occasionally remove ourselves from it --at least in thought.
Life may not come with a remote control, but you can still “hit pause” by simply closing your eyes and saying “Shh!” to the cares of the world.
