Canceled! Pass the Pierogies!: A Culinary Bus Tour
Saturday June 25, 2016
9:30 AM until 3:00 PM
The library is partnering with reigning “tour connoisseur” Kim Adley and her company, Passport to Pittsburgh, for a bus trip of culture and cuisine dedicated to the ultimate Steel City comfort food – the pierogi!
We’ll visit St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in the Strip District, tour a Polish deli for tasting and shopping, have an artisan pierogi demonstration in the Pennsylvania Market, and even stop in Etna for a pierogi-inspired dessert made by a former policeman!
Don’t pass this up, just pass the pierogies!
Price: $65.00 per person to be paid at the front desk
