Painted Rocks: Create, Hide, Find & Inspire
Sunday September 17, 2017
2:00 PM until 4:00 PM
For all ages
Have your heard about the new trend of painting rocks and hiding them for others to find as an act of random kindness? Shirley Musumeci, Glastonbury, CT Rocks, will lend her expertise for newcomers and experienced “rockers.” So come paint rocks to hide, and to inspire those who find them! One painted rock per person please. If you wish, you may bring your own flat, smooth rock, preferably 3 inches x 5 inches. All supplies will be furnished. All ages welcome. Parents/caregivers must attend with participating children in grades 1 to 8. Seating is limited to 26, so registration is requested online or at the Reference Desk at 860-652-7720.
About the Kindness Rocks Project ~ Their goal is to promote random acts of kindness to unsuspecting recipients, whether by painting and dropping inspirational rocks or in some other cool creative way to bring kindness to the world.
