Auto Maintenance 101

Open to Adults and Teen drivers. Learn how to do routine maintenance on your car. You’ll learn everything from checking tire pressure to identifying and filling fluids. (No children allowed as it will be in the service bay area) Registration required, space is limited.

This program will be held at Honda of Marysville, 640 Coleman's Crossing Blvd, Marysville.

Topics include:
Oil – Synthetic vs. traditional, how often to check oil and when to change it.
How your type of driving effects when to change your oil.
How to add fluids – washer, radiator
Types and colors of radiator fluids ( different types for different makers)
Tire inflation – Nitrogen vs air
Air filters – purpose – what happens if filter is dirty
Engine sounds and rattles – what it may indicate
Warning lights – Amber, Red and meaning
Fuel grades – Octane and safe to use ethanol?
