Charles Adés Fishman, an internationally acclaimed poet, editor, and teacher, and the recipient of the 2007 Paterson Award for Literary Excellence, will be reading from his new collection of poems, "Water Under Water," on Tuesday, February 9, at 11 a.m., and will lead a group discussion of his book at 1 p.m. on the same day.

He will also give a master class in poetry writing on Thursday, February 18, at 12:30 p.m. Dr. Fishman's book "The Death Mazurka" was listed by ALA/Choice as an "Outstanding Book of the Year" and was nominated for the 1990 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry. His more recent work includes "Country of Memory," "5,000 Bells," "Chopin's Piano," and "Blood to Remember: American Poets on the Holocaust." Space limited.
