The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents Vermeer’s "The Milkmaid," in a special exhibition that brings together all five Vermeer paintings from its collection, along with works by Dutch artists. "The Milkmaid" is on loan from Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum for a very short time. The Met doesn’t have a guided tour for this, but we will attend a lecture/slide presentation before going through the exhibit on our own. Cost of this trip on Tuesday, November 24 is $42 and includes class, entrance, transportation, and gratuities. Lunch on your own. Tickets go on sale beginning Thursday, November 5 at 9 a.m. Walking through the museum at your on pace.

* * * Two tickets per family. First day of sale for East Meadow School District residents only.
Seating for trips is limited and on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are non-refundable. Bus leaves promptly from all pick up points; we are not responsible for those who are not on the bus at the posted time.
Trip prices have increased due to higher bus and ticket costs. We cannot be responsible for traffic delays and inclement weather. Library is not responsible for numbered tickets distributed to hold places in line on ticket sale days.
