	 <description><![CDATA[Want to host video game programs at your library, but don't know where to start? Let Metrowest help! We have consoles, games and equipment for you to borrow to use in your libraries! Come to Gaming Fridays, and learn, play, and experience gaming in the library. Our staff will teach you how to hook up the equipment, play the game, and promote your program. You'll have the chance to get some hands on training with Guitar Hero, Mario Kart, Lego Star Wars, and other in demand games.<br><br>
Please note: <b>All interested libraries must send one employee to participate in the hands on training before borrowing gaming equipment. Library must agree and sign a Letter of Understanding prior to first loan. Equipment must be checked out, picked up and dropped off at the Metrowest Region in Waltham. Equipment cannot be loaned via regional delivery. Equipment is for use and loan by Metrowest member libraries only.<b><br><br></b>

Staff interested in participating in a digitization project.<br>
Summary:<br>
Dublin Core (so named because it was developed in the town of Dublin, Ohio) is a metadata standard for describing digital objects.  It is similar to AACR2/MARC, but simpler yet more conducive to describing audio, video and electronic resources. DC is the metadata most often used for digital repositories such as those at the American Geographical Society, Mystic Seaport, and C/W MARS.<br><br>
Bring photographs and documents for practicing this new skill.   Class Time: 2-3 hours.<br><br>
