Tai Chi Short Form
The Yang-Style Short Form was created in 1956. At that time China’s top Tai Chi masters wanted to simplify and de-mystify this ancient art to make it available to everyone. This form has now become the most popular Tai Chi form in the world and is the most popular of our classes at Great Bay Tai Chi. Most students will start with the Short Form or Beginners’ class, while those looking for something more physical will try the Long form .

Zumba Gold is Here!!
Zumba Gold takes the program’s original formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements Zumba is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, fun atmosphere.

Kids are naturally curious about the world around them. Things that may seem ordinary to grown-ups are extraordinary to children. Students will explore with models and activities, and create projects to reinforce the learning in each session.
Homeschoolers! Come on down for an afternoon of learning and socializing with other homeschool students and friends.

"Years before meeting Shrek and Donkey, the adorable but tricky Puss in Boots must clear his name from all charges making him a wanted fugitive. While trying to steal magic beans from the infamous criminals Jack and Jill, the hero crosses paths with his female match, Kitty Softpaws, who leads Puss to his old friend, but now enemy, Humpty Dumpty. Memories of friendship and betrayal enlarges Puss' doubt, but he eventually agrees to help the egg get the magic beans. Together, the three plan to steal the beans, get to the Giant's castle, nab the golden goose, and clear Puss' name." Written by Mr. Top Hat, from www.imdb.com.

Students will explore with models and activities, and create projects to reinforce the learning in each session.

Monday Night Book Group with Doris Gallant discusses Let's Take the Long Way Home by Gail Caldwell. "It captures the very thing we hope to find in friendship: a person who admires and cares for us not in spite of our flaws, but in acceptance of them, as part and parcel of who we are. For Gail Caldwell and Caroline Knapp--two intensely driven, talented writers who found in each other an uncannily similar share of life experiences and ambitions--loving the flaws became a cornerstone of their friendship. This is a beautiful story of the best things about best friends: shared rituals and private jokes, long walks (in this case, with their dearly loved dogs) and longer talks, confessions and discoveries" -Amazon.com
