Free Film Night: Lost in Paris at Central
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Image of Lost in Paris film cover.

Hidden gem/Comedy. Filmed in Dominique Abel and Fiona Gordon's signature whimsical style, and stars the filmmakers as a small-town Canadian librarian and a strangely seductive, oddly egotistical French vagabond.

When Fiona's orderly life is disrupted by a letter of distress from her elderly Aunt Martha who is living in Paris, Fiona hops on the first plane she can and arrives only to discover that Martha has disappeared.

In an avalanche of spectacular disasters, she encounters Dom, the affable, but annoying tramp won't leave her alone. Watch the trailer now.

7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Learn the basics of 3d printing, including how to prepare a 3D design file for printing, as well as how to properly and safely use the 3D printer to print your own 3D object. Patrons must attend an orientation workshop before using the 3D printer.

To get the most out of this workshop, registrants should already be comfortable with basic computer functions, like browsing the internet, and downloading files.

Participants must be in grade 7 or older and have a Whitby Public Library card in good standing to attend this workshop and use the 3D printer.
