Bideawee Reading to Dogs Program
Children in first through fifth grade are invited to read a story to a real dog. The volunteer and dog are trained and certified by Bideawee Outreach Program. Each child is encouraged to bring a donation of dog toys or dog biscuits. Registration for this program will take place at the children's reference desk starting February 16th.

AARP-PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS BEGINS AT 9:30
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first & largest classroom refresher course for drivers. This is an 8 hour class and registration is required. Registration will begin on February 17 for Floral Park residents. The class willbe limited to 32 attendees. Please bring a check in teh amount of $12. payable to AARP if you are an AARP member. Non-members must pay $14. Please show your AARP card when registering. Checks are nonrefundable.
Nonresidents may register starting on March 3, if space is available. Registration is in person only. Bring your driver's license and a pen to class. It is also advisable to bring lunch with you as well.
Please do not park behind the library in the staff parking. Parking is available on Tulip Avenue and Caroline Place.
