Great Decisions 2010
Great Decisions is the centerpiece of the longest-running civic education program in the U.S. devoted to foreign affairs. This discussion group is led by Ken Perlow and each meeting includes a film and roundtable discussion of a different foreign policy issue. Registration required by Jan. 12.
Topics this year: Special Envoys; Kenya and R2P; Global Crime; U.S.-China Security Relations; Global Financial Crisis; Russia and its Neighbors; The Persian Gulf; Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution.

Teen Tech Week: Learn Create Share
Teen Tech Week is a national initiative aimed at teens, librarians, educators, parents, and other concerned adults that highlights the many types of technology available to teens at libraries. The 2010 theme — Learn Create Share @ your library — encourages creativity and positions the library as a place to safely explore the many types of technology available at libraries, including DVDs, music, gaming, online homework help, social networking ... all types of technology. Kids' Yoga
Karen Damiecki of Yoga For Your Life is offering a free yoga class for ages 3-6. Registration is required and begins March 2 at the library. Space is limited to 15 children. Children should bring their own yoga mat or beach towel and wear comfortable clothes.
